Our new Proactive Support services are designed to give you more free time. Why not let our team of experts maintain the server and help keep it safe from intruders? Our flexible programs are designed to fit your needs and your budget. You will be able to create custom escalation rules for when issues should arise. A Small Orange offers three levels of Proactive Support — full root access is needed in order for us to perform the following duties.

  • Standard Monitoring and Support

    Proactive Support
    Proactive Support $25/mo, $15 setup per server/vps, per month

    We’ll monitor your servers' critical applications and react quickly whenever our intervention is needed. Includes everything in the Basic plan, plus the following:

    • Advanced Monitoring of the following:
      • - Apache (or similar)
      • - MySQL
      • - PostgreSQL
      • - Disk Space Usage
      • - Load Average
      • - Email Service Availability
      • - Memory Usage
      • - Mail Queue State
      • - Process Count
      • - cPanel/WHM (if applicable)
      • - SSH access
    • Reactive action to monitoring alerts for above services.

  • Elevated Monitoring and Support

    Application Maintenance
    Application Maintenance $50/mo, $30 setup per server/vps, per month

    In addition to monitoring your critical software, we’ll upgrade your software platforms to their most current, stable versions. Includes everything in the Basic plan, plus the following:

    • Monthly service checks to ensure server is running the latest versions of the following:
      • - Apache (or similar)
      • - MySQL
      • - PostgreSQL
      • - cPanel/WHM (if applicable)
      • - PHP
    • Monthly checks of 3rd party software updates (you provide the software list)
    • Monthly checks of up to 3 custom scripts or services as defined by you
    • Advanced Monitoring of the following:
      • - Apache (or similar)
      • - MySQL
      • - PostgreSQL
      • - Disk Space Usage
      • - Load Average
      • - Email Service Availability
      • - Memory Usage
      • - Mail Queue State
      • - Process Count
      • - cPanel/WHM (if applicable)
      • - SSH access
    • Reactive action to monitoring alerts for above services.

  • Advanced Monitoring and Support

    PCI Compliance / Security
    PCI Compliance / Security $100/mo, $75 setup per server/vps, per month

    Our most advanced tier of Proactive Support is designed to protect your critical systems against outside intruders. Includes everything in the Basic plan, plus the following:

    • Hardening of server with installation and configuration of software firewall.
    • Configuration of server to meet PCI compliance.
    • Monthly security audits of server.
    • Monthly PCI compliance scanning and resolution should problems be found.
    • Monthly service checks to ensure server is running the latest versions of the following:
      • - Apache (or similar)
      • - MySQL
      • - PostgreSQL
      • - cPanel/WHM (if applicable)
      • - PHP
    • Advanced Monitoring of the following:
      • - Apache (or similar)
      • - MySQL
      • - PostgreSQL
      • - Disk Space Usage
      • - Load Average
      • - Email Service Availability
      • - Memory Usage
      • - Mail Queue State
      • - Process Count
