A Small Orange has offices in downtown Durham, NC and Austin, TX, both of which are close to nightlife, restaurants, and plenty of live music. We ask that our local employees come into the office whenever they can. We've designed our offices to be friendly and casual spaces and provide plenty of perks such as company paid lunches, snacks, gaming machines, and more.
To connect our global employee base, we have many different ways of connecting with each other to foster community. We've found that company/team meetups and frequent "Town Hall" meetings via webcam (among other things) are great ways to get everyone up to speed. Employees outside of Durham and Austin who live close to each other are encouraged to get together on a regular basis as well.
